The fourth annual Doctor’s Choice Award – The Salvage of Your Worst Surgical Disaster Video Competition will be co-chaired by Luther L. Fry, MD and Robert H. Osher, MD. Participants may submit videos up to eight minutes in length, preferably edited and narrated, and recorded on standard (not extended) play. Acceptable formats include FHS, S-VHS, or DVD. Professionally produced videos are excluded. Entries will be reviewed and eight will be selected to be shown during Section II of the meeting on Saturday, February 18, 2006, 10:15 am – 12:00 noon. Seminar attendees will be given an opportunity to vote for the most challenging case, and an award will be presented to the winner. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS JANUARY 10, 2006.

The second annual Interactive Video Roundtable of Unusual Cases will also be co-chaired by Dr. Fry and Dr. Osher. This section is not a competition, but an opportunity for attendees to submit any type of unusual case for panel and audience discussion. The length, format, and deadline are the same as above.
