Does
it matter where the doctor does surgery? In other words, if a person
wanted to get it done at the mall, as long as they've checked out the doctor, is
that okay?
"If the facility, laser, and operative team are properly maintained, the location is not necessarily that important. Personally, however, performing surgery in a public place compromises patient confidentiality and violates the doctor/patient relationship," said Dotson.
